About Eric Clapton Tickets 2026
Eric Clapton is the only musician inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame three times: as a member of the Yardbirds, as a member of Cream, and as a solo artist.
Nicknamed "Slowhand," he spent the 1960s turning British blues into rock history and has kept playing it ever since, from stadiums to some of the world's most storied concert halls.
His first appearance at London's Royal Albert Hall came in December 1964 with the Yardbirds, and he has returned there so often that the building feels like a second home.

What to Expect from an Eric Clapton Concert?
A Clapton night is relaxed and unhurried, built around fluid, singing guitar lines rather than flashy production.
He's backed by a seasoned band of long-time collaborators, and the evening moves between blues standards, deep cuts, and the hits that made him famous.
Seated halls give the performance an intimate, listening-room feel, with audiences focused on the guitar work.
Expect songs from every phase of his career, including Cream-era classics and the acoustic ballads of his later years.
Eric Clapton's Biography
Eric Patrick Clapton was born on 30 March 1945 in Ripley, Surrey, and was already getting noticed as a guitarist by the age of 16.

After Cream and a brief spell in Blind Faith, he formed Derek and the Dominos, whose 1970 album Layla and Other Assorted Love Songs is widely regarded as his masterpiece.
His 1992 album Unplugged won six Grammys, including Album of the Year, and he has received 18 Grammy Awards in total.
He founded the Crossroads Centre in Antigua and has hosted the Crossroads Guitar Festival since 2004 to raise money for it, and he was made a CBE in 2004.
Eric Clapton's Albums & Projects
His solo career began with the 1970 album Eric Clapton, followed by 461 Ocean Boulevard in 1974 and Slowhand in 1977.
The 1992 Unplugged album brought "Tears in Heaven" to a worldwide audience, and Riding with the King, recorded with B.B. King in 2000, returned him to the blues.
Since 1999 he has recorded a string of traditional blues and blues-rock albums alongside his own songwriting.
Most Popular Eric Clapton Songs and Setlist Selections
"Layla" and "Wonderful Tonight" are the songs most fans are waiting for, along with "Tears in Heaven" and "Cocaine."
