Italy’s record at the UEFA European Championships is one of the most consistent in the history of the competition.

A goal from Marco Delvecchio looked set to hand Italy the title, only for substitute Sylvain Wiltford to score four minutes into injury time to take the game to extra time when fellow sub David Trezeguet scored the winner for Les Bleus.
Euro 2012 set up another UEFA European Championship Final, but on this occasion, they were thumped by Spain 4-0 in Kyiv. and Euro 2016 saw them exit at the Quarter-Final stage.
