Pet Shop Boys released their debut album, Please, on Parlophone Records in 1986, and that release included their massive hit West End Girls, which went to number one on both sides of the Atlantic.

Go West

1993's Very proved another huge success, topping the album charts around the world. This release included the hugely popular Go West. In 1996, the band remixed the David Bowie track Hallo Spaceboy, and they then performed with the legend at that year's Brit Awards ceremony, to much acclaim.

By 1999, they were listed as the most successful duo in UK music history by the Guinness Book of Records.

Longevity

2009's Yes was another massive success and every new album continues to draw a great deal of critical acclaim as well as commercial success. In 2023, the pair worked on remixes for Noel Gallagher and 2024 saw the Pet Shop Boys release their fifteenth studio album, Nonetheless, and it reached number two on the UK chart and performed well across Europe and beyond.
