Neither Switzerland nor Ukraine have achieved all that much in the UEFA European Championship, though both have had brief moments of relative success.

Ukraine have qualified for the UEFA European Championships finals on three occasions, and the first of these came as co-hosts at Euro 2012, where they picked up a win from their opening game when former Chelsea striker Andriy Shevchenko scored twice in a victory over Sweden.
Nonetheless, the Yellow and Blues failed to make it out of their group, and four years later, they suffered three defeats from their group stage matches at Euro 2016 and failed to score a single goal.
