We take a look at the eight pairings for the Champions League last-16:

FC Porto vs Arsenal

Porto vs Arsenal tickets are starting from £156, while Arsenal vs Porto tickets are available from £175 via SeatPick.

Historically speaking, FC Porto are the more successful of these teams in Europe. The Dragões defeated Bayern Munich in the 1987 European Cup final. More recently, in 2004, Porto remarkably won the Champions League under the tutelage of José Mourinho, still just a few years into his managerial career.

Arsenal have previously reached the Champions League final but went on to lose to Barcelona in 2006. Three years later Arsène Wenger’s team made it to the semi-finals, but lost to defending champions Manchester United.

2010 was the first and last time these teams met in the Champions League knockouts. Radamel Falcao scored the winning goal in a 2-1 success for Porto in the first leg, before Arsene Wenger’s side responded with a resounding 5-0 win at the Emirates Stadium.

Porto welcome the Gunners to Estádio do Dragão on 21 February, before the Dragões take to the Emirates on 12 March.

Napoli vs FC Barcelona

Secure your Napoli vs Barcelona tickets from £140 with SeatPick. Barcelona vs Napoli tickets are currently starting from £83.

Napoli and FC Barcelona go to battle and many observers are touting this as the pick of the last-16 ties.

The first time these teams met in the Champions League was also at this stage during the Covid-stricken 2019/20 season. Barca won 3-1 at Camp Nou, with Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez amongst the goals, following a 1-1 draw in Naples.

Barcelona are five-time winners of this trophy, with four of them in the Champions League era. The Catalan giants defeated Manchester United in both the 2009 and 2011 finals and then duly beat Juventus in 2015.

Napoli have never progressed past the Round of 16 in Europe’s premier club competition, crashing out to eventual winners Chelsea in 2012 and Real Madrid in 2017.

La Blaugrana are due a visit to Stadio Diego Armando Maradona on 21 February, followed by the hosting of Napoli at Olympic Stadium on 12 March.

Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) vs Real Sociedad

PSG vs Real Sociedad tickets are selling from £95, while Real Sociedad vs PSG tickets are also up for grabs from £235.

Real Sociedad haven’t particularly made a statement of intent during the Champions League era. La Real reached the Round of 16 for the first time in 2003/04 and haven’t returned to the knockout rounds until this season.

Paris Saint-Germain have come a lot closer to continental success, ending runners-up to Bayern Munich in 2020. The Parisiens were knocked out at the semi-finals in 2021 and had previously suffered four successive quarter-final exits from 2013-16.

These two teams have never previously shared a pitch prior to being paired together in the Champions League Round of 16 in 2023/24.

PSG entertain Real Sociedad on 14 February at Parc des Princes, with the return leg scheduled for 5 March at Estadio Anoeta.

Inter Milan vs Atletico Madrid

Buy Inter Milan vs Atletico Madrid tickets with SeatPick from £83. Atletico Madrid vs Inter Milan tickets start from £105.

Inter Milan were a considerable force in the early years of this competition, winning back-to-back European Cup titles in 1965, during a period in which Real Madrid dominated European club football. In more recent times the Nerazzurri captured Champions League glory in 2010. José Mourinho’s side defeated Bayern Munich in the final to complete a treble of trophies with the Serie A and Coppa Italia titles.

Atletico Madrid ended Champions League runners-up in 2014 and again two years later, losing to neighbours and rivals Real Madrid on both occasions.

Inter and Atletico have gone head-to-head just once before, in the UEFA Super Cup of 2010. Sergio Agüero was on the scoresheet as Atletico, Europa League champions at the time, defeated then-Champions League holders Inter, 2-0.

Atletico Madrid will grace the iconic San Siro for the first time on 20 February. Inter Milan then make the journey to Estadio Metropolitano on 13 March.

PSV Eindhoven vs Borussia Dortmund

PSV vs Dortmund tickets can be purchased safely and securely with SeatPick, starting from £261. There is also availability for Dortmund vs PSV from £130.

PSV Eindhoven became European Cup champions in 1988 when Guus Hiddink’s side edged Benfica on penalties. Borussia Dortmund have also previously gotten their hands on the European title, in 1997, with a 3-1 victory over Juventus in the Champions League final.

Ahead of their last-16 clash, PSV and Dortmund have met just twice before. The teams shared a group in the 2002/03 Champions League, as Die Borussen claimed a 3-1 win in the Netherlands before a 1-1 stalemate at Westfalenstadion.

PSV and Dortmund are set to go head-to-head at Philips Stadion on 20 February, with the reverse fixture booked for 13 March at Signal Iduna Park.

Lazio vs Bayern Munich

Get your Lazio vs Bayern Munich tickets from just £78 with SeatPick. Bayern Munich vs Lazio tickets are starting from £160.

Bayern Munich are six-time European champions, with three in the Champions League era. The Bavarians defeated Borussia Dortmund in the 2013 final at Wembley Stadium – the same venue as the final next year – and later overcame PSG in 2020.

On the contrary, Lazio have never necessarily been in major contention to become champions of Europe. In 2021, Biancocelesti crashed out to none other than Bayern in the Round of 16.

The Bavarians were Champions League holders at the time and they duly earned a 6-2 aggregate win, with Robert Lewandowski finding the net home and away against Lazio.

Bayern Munich visit the Stadio Olimpico on 14 February before Lazio stand before the magnificent Allianz Arena on 5 March.

FC Copenhagen vs Manchester City

Man City vs Copenhagen tickets are available from as little as £60 with SeatPick!

The defending champions travel to the Danish city of Copenhagen in their bid to hold onto their coveted crown.

FC Copenhagen was the team most group winners would’ve liked to have been drawn with, and Manchester City will already have their sights set on the quarter-finals.

When the sides met at the group stage in 2022/23, Pep Guardiola’s charges put five past Copenhagen at the Etihad Stadium followed by a goalless draw in the return at Parken Stadion.

Copenhagen host the Citizens on 13 February before visiting the home of the champions on 6 March. Get Copenhagen vs Man City tickets with SeatPick.
