Clippers Playoffs Tickets

For a team that has never captured an NBA (National Basketball Association) Championship or even a Conference title, the Los Angeles Clippers are still hugely popular and have made a tangible impact in the league since their first season in the league, as the Buffalo Braves, in 1970.

Buffalo and San Diego

By 1973-74 the Braves were already cementing their place in the NBA playoffs on a regular basis, forcing their way to the postseason in three successive seasons under Jack Ramsay.

Two of those ended at the hands of the Boston Celtics, and the other came after a seven-game Conference Semifinals defeat to the Washington Bullets.

In 1978 the team became the San Diego Chargers, but the team failed to make it to the playoffs in an of their six seasons in that guise.

In 1984 they moved to Los Angeles, and seven poor seasons followed.

Rivers Reign

The Los Angeles Clippers enjoyed their strongest seasons during the reign of Doc Rivers when stars like Deandre Jordan, Chris Paul, and Blake Griffin made them a team worthy of respect.

They won two Pacific Division titles in this period and reached the Conference Semifinals regularly.

By 2020-21 the Lob City finally reached their first-ever Conference Finals, this under Tyronn Lue, but they lost out to the Phoenix Suns in six games.

The dream of reaching a first-ever NBA Finals continues, and as yet, it's unclear when they may just achieve this lofty goal.

In 2022-23 they made it back to the postseason and looking to once again break a historical trend that has led them very much to chase the tails of their local rivals, the Los Angeles Lakers.
