Nottingham Forest vs. Newcastle United History
A host of players have played for both clubs, the most prominent among them being the likes of Jack Colback, Jamaal Lascelles, and Stuart Pearce.
Additionally, Frank Clark played 464 times for Newcastle United before moving to Forest in 1975, where he played a key role in helping Brian Clough’s side to domestic and European glory. He then went on to manage Forest between May 1993 and December 1996.

Brian Clough’s side went on to reach the FA Cup Final, only to then lose to Tottenham in extra time at Wembley Stadium in heartbreaking fashion.
