Indeed, Granada CF have caused some eyebrows to be raised in recent editions of the Copa del Rey, as they managed to achieve their one of their best modern finishes in the 2019/20 competition as they reached the semi-finals.
However, the Andalusian outfit have had some success in the tournament in the past, although fans have had plenty of time to wait to see their side do as well. The Southern Spanish outfit managed to finish runners up in the 1958/59 edition of the tournament, having been beaten by FC Barcelona in the final.
