West Ham United vs Manchester United is one of the best fixtures fans will be able to see at the London Stadium in the Premier League, with the two sides creating a highly competitive atmosphere that can produce some unpredictable results at times.
The Hammers are not one of the biggest clubs in the game, however, they have been able to go from strength to strength over recent years and look to establish themselves as a top-flight side with lofty ambitions.
The move to the 80,000 London Stadium in 2016 shows how high those aims are, as well as the recent financial investments being made into the club, allowing for them to attract players of quality and make games at the impressive venue all the more enthralling.
Of course, Manchester United are one of the most successful clubs in English football, which only helps to add to the attention the fixture already receives. During Sir Alex Ferguson’s tenure, the Red Devils managed to win over 20 league titles, as well as a number of domestic and international cups.
Clashes between the duo, therefore, may be thought of as a foregone conclusion before they even happen, however, there have been some surprising results to have happened between the sides in the past.

However, there have also been some 0-2 defeats suffered at the hands of Manchester United as well, therefore suggesting that this particular fixture is open to both teams as each one seems to have an equal chance of taking all three points.
Naturally, when Manchester United come to town, a number of star players are on show and the London Stadium will have been treated to the likes of Paul Pogba, Marcus Rashford and David De Gea in the past. West Ham also have their own stars, with the likes of Pablo Fornals, Sebastien Haller and Felipe Anderson just some of the household names to have worn the claret and blue in the fixture.
