AS Roma are one of the most successful football clubs to be recognised from the Italian game, with their ability to win the Coppa Italia numerous times something that has certainly added to their reputation. The 2006/07 Coppa Italia final will be remembered by most as AS Roma trounched Inter Milan 6-2 in the first leg at the Stadio Olimpico before losing 2-1 in the second to hand them a 7-4 aggregate victory.
