Atalanta B.C. are a side that have some history when it comes down to the Coppa Italia, with the club having proven to be a successful outfit over the years when involved in the domestic club cup competition. With it a rather interesting spectacle for the Atalanta fans to experience with their club, the 21,300 capacity Gewiss Stadium is an exceptional venue for the competition’s matches to be played at.
The club, who have had numerous nicknames such as La Dea, Gli Orobici and I Nerazzurri (not to be confused with Inter Milan) all being used, have had a number of quality players turn out for them over the years in previous editions of the competition. Individuals such as Duvan Zapata, Josip Ilicic, Alejandro Dario Gomez and Mario Pasalic have all featured for the football club in the past.

As mentioned, Atalanta B.C. have had some success when they have competed in the Coppa Italia over history. La Dea have managed to lift the trophy on at least one occasion, with their win having come in the 1962–63 edition of the tournament.
I Nerazzurri have reached the tournament’s finale on no fewer than on four occasions, as the club have had to settle for at least three runners up medals as well. Those came in the 1986–87, 1995–96, 2018–19 editions of the Coppa Italia.
