There have been a number of memorable moments to have involved Inter Milan in the competition throughout the years, including the back to back victories between 2009/10 and 2010/11.

The 2009/10 final was contested between Inter Milan and AS Roma, however I Nerazzurri did enough to take the silverware as Diego Milito’s goal was enough to give a side led by Jose Mourinho enough, whilst the club ran out 3-1 victors against Palermo in the following final with a brace from Samuel Eto’o being more than enough.

For all the success, though, there have been some moments that the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza outfit will want to have put behind them and ensure that they do not happen in the Coppa Italia again. One such instance was their hard-fought win against Pordenone in the Round of 16 in the 2017/18 competition, as I Nerazzurri required a tense and nervy penalty shootout to overcome the minnows at home.
