About SS Lazio Coppa Italia
SS Lazio History in the Coppa Italia
SS Lazio have had some great success in the Coppa Italia over the years, which is a reason as to why they certainly attract a following when they do participate in the competition. Having already built a mass following, the 70,634 capacity Stadio Olimpico becomes a venue whereby everybody is desperate to witness I Biancocelesti in action against some of Italy’s finest sides, as well as some of the country’s minnows at times.
The Serie A outfit have had some top-quality talent in their squad over the years that have graced the club competition with their presence when Lazio take part in the domestic tournament, with the likes of Angelo Peruzzi, Hernan Jorge Crespo, Alessandro Nesta and Juan Sebastian Veron all having featured in the past, whilst more recent stars such as Thomas Strakosha, Ciro Immobile and Sergej Milinkovic-Savic have all tried their best to get the club back onto the winners podium.
