Liverpool vs Crystal Palace History

The first meeting between these teams only came in 1938, when they met in the Third Round of the FA Cup. Overall, Liverpool have by far been the more successful of the two clubs, with more than 50 major honours in the Anfield trophy cabinet.

The Merseyside outfit won 18 league titles in the First Division era, before finally capturing a maiden Premier League crown in 2020. The Reds have also won the FA Cup no fewer than eight times, in addition to six successes in the European Cup/UEFA Champions League.
