John Terry lifted this trophy five times, more than any other player has achieved whilst at Chelsea. Many other Blues stars of yesteryear also managed to pick up at least one FA Cup winner's medal, including Ron Harris, Gianfranco Zola, Frank Lampard, and Didier Drogba.

Chelsea FC are one of the most decorated clubs in terms of FA Cup success, with no fewer than eight titles in the trophy cabinet at Stamford Bridge.
CFC won a maiden FA Cup trophy in 1970 but won only two more prior to the takeover by Roman Abramovich in 2003. Thereafter five FA Cup titles were won by the Blues: in 2006/07, 2008/09, 2009/10, 2011/12 and 2017/18.
As of the end of 2023, Chelsea have played in the FA Cup final no fewer than 12 times, while only Arsenal and Manchester United have won this trophy more times than the Stamford Bridge side.
