Serbia National Team History

Serbia's qualification record for the UEFA European Championship finals is very poor. Indeed the Serbia national team has never made it to the finals of any tournament since the nation became its own sovereign state.

As part of Yugoslavia, the former republic that covered a number of now independent nations, they finished as runners-up in the competition at both the 1960 and 1968 events. Among their other achievements, they finished fourth at the 1976 tournament.

Failed to Qualify from 2008 to 2020

After becoming its own entity in 2008, Serbia failed to qualify for each of the following four editions of the continental showpiece in 2008, 2012, 2016, and 2020.
