Feyenoord History in the Europa League
Feyenoord are a regular competitor in the Europa League and have won the competition twice in their history. With the club's history of success, the 51,177 capacity De Kuip stadium becomes a lively place when Europa League matches take place.
The Eredivisie outfit have a number of different nicknames, such as De club van het volk (The Club of the People). They've had a number of top-quality players feature for them on the European stage over the years. Feyenoord's Top Achievements In the Europa League
Indeed, Feyenoord have won the UEFA Cup, now known as the Europa League, on two occasions in their history. However, they've failed to reach a semi-final in more than 20 years, losing to AS Roma in a heated 2022/23 quarter-final.
Feyenoord won the tournament in 1973/74 and 2001/02, beating Tottenham Hotspur over two legs in their first UEFA Cup final appearance. Their next final appearance came in 2002, when they beat Borussia Dortmund 3-2 in a match that was coincidentally played at their own stadium.
